MEETINGS

The Democratic Action Club of Chico (DACC) meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Our meetings are a chance to connect with friends, hear from guest speakers—including candidates, elected officials, and advocates—and take action on key issues. Whether you're a longtime activist or just getting involved, we welcome you to be part of the movement!

Street Demonstrations: Organized by Defenders of Democracy Coalition including Indivisibe, DACC, Re-Sisters, and Oroville and Chico Resist.

Every Friday from 8:30-9:30am, people are gathering at East and Esplanade to take advantage of increased traffic there and plentiful parking.

Social Security Office

Every Thursday from 8:30-9:30pm, people are gathering with signs at the Social Security Office to show our support for federal workers and protecting crucial programs like Social Security.

The Democratic Action Club of Chico, known as DACC, was founded in 1997 to reach out to the Chico community and the surrounding neighborhoods. Its mission is to promote Democratic candidates and issues, and to create a robust local Democratic Party. DACC meetings are intended to educate and motivate our membership, and speakers include political candidates, elected officials and advocates of pressing issues.
